Technology at Work

4SC has already demonstrated the success of its cheminformatics based technology platform in several projects by identifying and synthesising highly active compounds.

In the most advanced project, which focuses on the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, 4SC has developed and patented new drug candidates within only five months. For one candidate a clinical phase IIa trial has already successfully been completed. From the start of this project until commencement of the first clinical trials a period of only 30 months was required.
